Snap Map is a feature on Snapchat that allows users to share their location with their friends on a map. It was introduced in 2017 and has since become a popular feature on the app.

When you use Snap Map, your Bitmoji character appears on a map at your current location. You can choose to share your location with all of your friends, a select group of friends, or no one (Ghost Mode). This can be a fun way to see what your friends are up to and where they are, and can also help you meet up with friends in real life.

Snap Map also includes a heat map that shows where a lot of Snaps are being shared, which can give you an idea of where popular events or hotspots are located. Additionally, you can view Snaps submitted to "Our Story" from around the world on Snap Map. These Snaps are curated by Snapchat and can be viewed by anyone who has access to Snap Map.

It's important to note that Snap Map only updates your location when you have the Snapchat app open, so it's not a real-time tracking feature. Additionally, you can choose to turn off Snap Map at any time by enabling Ghost Mode in the settings.
