Here are 7 useful hidden features in WhatsApp that can seriously level up your chatting experience:

💡 1. Hide "Last Seen" from Specific People
Why it's useful: Keep your activity private from selected contacts without disabling it entirely.

How to do it:

Go to Settings > Privacy > Last Seen & Online

Tap "My Contacts Except..." and select who you want to hide from

🕵♂️ 2. View Message Details (When Delivered & Read)
Why it's useful: See exactly when a message was delivered and read.

How to do it:

Long-press a sent message

Tap info (i) on top (iPhone) or three dots > Info (Android)

🎧 3. Listen to Voice Notes Privately
Why it's useful: Listen to voice messages discreetly even in public.

How to do it:

Play the voice note and quickly put the phone to your ear – the proximity sensor will switch audio to the earpiece.

📌 4. Pin Important Chats to the Top
Why it's useful: Keep essential chats (like work or family) always at the top.

How to do it:

Long-press the chat > Tap the pin icon (📌)

🔍 5. Search by Message Type
Why it's useful: Find only photos, videos, links, or audio in a specific chat.

How to do it:

Open the chat > Tap the contact name > Tap Media, Links, and Docs

✍️ 6. Send Messages to Yourself
Why it's useful: Take notes, save links, images, or reminders for yourself.

How to do it:

Start a new chat > Tap your own contact at the top (should say "Message yourself")

👀 7. Read Messages Without Triggering Blue Ticks
Why it's useful: Peek without letting them know.

How to do it:

Put phone in Airplane Mode, then read the message

Close WhatsApp before turning off Airplane Mode

OR, disable read receipts via Settings > Privacy > Read Receipts (note: this disables it both ways)
