What is a Snapstreak?

A Snapstreak is a feature on Snapchat that tracks the number of consecutive days two users have exchanged snaps (photos or videos) with each other. To maintain a Snapstreak, both users must send a snap (not a chat) to each other within a 24-hour period. If they succeed, a flame emoji (🔥) along with the number of days the streak has been active appears next to their names.

If one of the users misses a day, the streak ends. Snapchat also sends reminders if a Snapstreak is about to end, encouraging users to keep it going. This feature encourages regular interaction and can be a fun way to stay connected with friends.
