What is the "controversial" tab on Reddit?

Edward

As of my last update, Reddit doesn't have a specific "controversial" tab. However, Reddit does have a "Controversial" sorting option within the "Sort By" dropdown menu when viewing posts within a subreddit or on the front page. When you choose the "Controversial" sorting option, it rearranges posts based on the ratio of upvotes to downvotes rather than simply the total number of upvotes.

Posts that are considered controversial are typically those with a relatively equal number of upvotes and downvotes, indicating that they have sparked a significant amount of debate and disagreement among users. This sorting option allows users to explore content that has generated a lot of discussion, even if it's not universally liked or agreed upon.
