How do you create a campaign draft in Google Ads Editor?

To create a campaign draft in Google Ads Editor, follow these steps:

1. Open Google Ads Editor and connect to your Google Ads account.
2. In the account tree on the left, select the campaign that you want to create a draft of.
3. Click the Campaigns tab at the top of the window.
4. Click the Create draft button.
5. Enter a name for your draft campaign.
6. Make any changes to your draft campaign that you want to make. You can change the campaign settings, ad groups, keywords, and ads in your draft campaign.
7. Click the Post button to save your draft campaign.

Once you have created a draft campaign in Google Ads Editor, you can continue to make changes to it without affecting your live campaign. This can be useful if you want to test out different campaign settings, ad groups, keywords, or ads before applying them to your live campaign.

When you are ready to apply the changes from your draft campaign to your live campaign, click the Post button in Google Ads Editor. This will apply the changes from your draft campaign to your live campaign, replacing the live campaign with the draft campaign.

It's important to note that creating a draft campaign in Google Ads Editor is different from creating a campaign experiment in Google Ads. A campaign experiment allows you to test out changes to your campaign without affecting your live campaign, but it does not replace your live campaign with the experiment when you are finished. To learn more about campaign experiments, you can read the Google Ads Help Center article on creating a campaign experiment.
