Connecting your Bluehost domain to Shopify allows you to use your custom domain (like www.yourstore.com) instead of Shopify's default domain. Here's a step-by-step guide to do it:

🔧 How to Connect a Bluehost Domain to Shopify
✅ Option 1: Connect Automatically (Recommended by Shopify)
Shopify supports automatic domain connection for some providers, but Bluehost isn't directly supported—so you'll need to connect it manually.

🛠 Option 2: Connect Manually (DNS Configuration)
Step 1: Log in to Shopify
Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.

Click "Settings" > "Domains".

Click "Connect existing domain".

Enter your Bluehost domain name (e.g., yourstore.com), then click Next.

Step 2: Log in to Bluehost
Visit https://my.bluehost.com and log in.

Go to Domains > My Domains.

Click Manage next to your domain.

Find the DNS (Zone Editor) or DNS Records section.

Step 3: Update DNS Records
You need to point your domain to Shopify by changing the following records:

A Record (Host/Name: @)

Points to: 23.227.38.65 (Shopify's IP address)

CNAME Record (Host/Name: www)

Points to: shops.myshopify.com

📝 Make sure:

You delete any existing A records pointing to other IPs.

Only one A record exists pointing to 23.227.38.65.

Step 4: Confirm Domain in Shopify
Go back to Shopify > Domains.

Click "Verify Connection."

It may take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate.

📌 Bonus: Set Domain as Primary
Once verified:

In Shopify, go to Settings > Domains.

Click "Set as Primary" next to your new domain (optional but recommended).

❗Troubleshooting Tips
Use https://who.is or DNSChecker.org to verify your DNS updates.

Clear browser cache or use incognito mode if changes aren't appearing.
