POV: You're a tech employee & content creator living in Tokyo

You wake up in your compact but clean Shibuya apartment. Your morning view? The skyline cutting through some light fog, with Tokyo Tower peeking out like it's saying, "Let's get this bread."

You check Slack—half the dev team is still asleep in other time zones. Nice. That gives you a couple hours to sip your konbini coffee and prep your next YouTube video: "How I Automate My Life with AI in Tokyo".

By 10 AM, you're deep in code. Today's task? Implementing a feature for your team's AI-powered SaaS product. It's Node on the backend, React on the front—clean commits, dark mode, Lofi beats on your AirPods. You're in the zone.

Lunchtime hits, and it's not sad desk salad—nah, you hop on your electric bike to Nakameguro for some tantanmen at that one spot only locals know. You shoot a quick Reel: steamy noodles, chill jazz in the background, your voiceover already forming in your head.

Back home, you crank out a quick edit while your code runs tests. OBS is open, Figma mockups are on your second monitor, and Final Cut is doing its magic on the side. You're basically a productivity octopus at this point.

6 PM, a call with HQ in New York. You're the bridge—the Tokyo time zone wizard. Then it's off to an izakaya with some other devs and indie hackers. Vibes are high. Someone just shipped a Chrome extension that's blowing up on Product Hunt.

You end the day on your rooftop, neon lights below, camera rolling. You talk to your audience about balancing a 9-5 with the creator grind in one of the busiest cities on Earth.

Tokyo never sleeps—and honestly, neither do you. But damn, it's worth it.
